Embark on Your Accreditation Journey
Begin your journey by submitting your application. Share essential details about your organization, including its legal identity, address, and resources. Define the scope of accreditation, program descriptions, and training materials for assessment.
Complete the registration by paying the application fee ($250 CAD per application)
Sign the Assessment Agreement
After submitting your application, sign the “Assessment Agreement,” which outlines terms, conditions, pricing, and the assessment timeline. This agreement includes the appointed assessors’ details and the process plan.
Assessment costs are variable, and would be estimated in this step. The costs can range between $5,000 CAD and $15,000+ CAD based on the size/ scope of the accreditation request.
Undergo the Assessment Process
Appointed assessors evaluate your organization’s policies and procedures based on the 7 sections of the TPS:2023 Scheme aligned with the ISO17011 standards. Training materials, instructor qualifications, and alignment with the LRF competencies are reviewed rigorously. The Lead Assessor compiles findings, including nonconformities and recommendations.
Addressing Nonconformities
Upon receiving the assessment report, address identified nonconformities by submitting a Corrective Action Plan (CAP). Once approved, Assessors finalize the report and close the nonconformities.
Decision and Consensus
The Accreditation Committee reviews Assessors’ recommendations and makes the final decision. The decision is endorsed and communicated to you.
Receive Your Accreditation Package
Upon successful approval, receive your Accreditation Package, including an official letter, terms for using symbols/logos, and guidelines to maintain your accreditation status.
The Accreditation Maintenance Fees are set at $3,000 per year to maintain your Accreditation status (given that all requirements and requested adjustments are met)
